Kuala Lumpur has a very rich cultural and historical background. Ever since the country
has gained independence in 1957, it has enjoyed steady growth and development.
If you’ve visited the place in the early 2000s, you will be forgiven to think that you do not
want to back to the place. However, I would definitely recommend that you revisit
Malaysia again because everything is just so different. It is now more inviting and there
are plenty of different tourist attractions that you can visit.
Today, I am going to go over some of the top things to do in Kuala Lumpur. I am going
to give you a little bit of secret: The girl escorts here are quite superb and they are
definitely worth the money.
Bike Around the City
Although you can rent a car so that you can move around the city much faster, I would
argue that you take the bike instead.
There are plenty of bike rental shops all over the metro and the great thing about getting
one is the fact that you get to see the entirety of Kuala Lumpur at your own pace.
What’s more, since a bike is quite smaller than a car, you can fit in the back alleys and
shortcuts so that you can get traverse the city without having to contend with the traffic.
Quiet Your Mind at the Sin Sze Si Ya Temple
Malaysia has plenty of different temples that are built to honor gods and heroes. The
Sin Sze Si Ya Temple is located in the busy streets of Petaling Street but just when you
think that the ambient noise will affect the harmony of the said temple, you are wrong. In
fact, this is the ideal place to quiet your mind down, especially if you’ve just been to so
many busy cities.
You can offer your prayers here and the temple grounds are quite nice in that you are
allowed to take photos. Just make sure that you do not make too much noise as a sign
of respect for the others who wish to have a moment of silence.
Picnic at the Park
At the foot of the infamous Petronas Twin Towers is the KLCC Park. This amazing park
has plenty of trees amidst the tall structures that surround it.
This place is ideal for people who want to bask under the Malaysian sun and for those
that want to have a picnic with the entire family.
I actually love going here at night because not only do you get a great view of the Twin
Towers but you also get to enjoy the magnificent fountain and light show at the
Symphony Lake as well.
Eat Like a King
The food scene here in Malaysia is one of the best I’ve ever been to. There is literally a
lot of different food establishments that you can visit and it suits just about any price point.
If you are on a budget, you can go to Jalan Alor to find food stalls that offer food at very
affordable prices. There is also quite an assortment of different restaurants for people
who have the money to spend on fancy dining.
Party ‘til You Drop
Changkat Bukit Bintang is the place to be if you want to party. This is the premier strip
for nightclubs and bars and you can definitely find a place that you want here. Of
course, you have to have your money ready because some of the more luxurious
nightclubs aren’t cheap.
